Christmas bird count

It has been a while since my last post. There is not much happening on the bee front.
Today was the annual Christmas Bird Count http://www.audubon.org/Bird/cbc put on by the Audubon Society. I have been doing this for around 15 years.
I watch my feeders all day and get a count on birds that I see. Obviously birds come and go all day. I count the greatest number of them I see through out the day.
If I see different sexes in a given species I can adjust my numbers if the greatest total I see is all females for example and a male or two show up later. Here are my numbers for today:
Red Bellied Woodpecker .................. 2
Black Capped Chickadee .................. 8
Purple Finch ..................................... 7
Pine Sisken ....................................... 16
White Breasted Nuthatch ................ 3
Brown Breasted Nuthatch ............... 2
Gold Finch ....................................... 8
Downy Woodpecker ...................... 4
Hairy Woodpecker .......................... 1
Crow ................................................ 1
Cardinal .......................................... 11
Slate Colored Junco ........................ 8
House Finch ................................... 5
Blue Jay .......................................... 4
Mourning Dove .............................. 1
