New Beekeepers and feeding

I have had several calls from new beekeepers looking at the dandelions and thinking they should stop feeding.
If there is a hive on new foundation, the bees have to be fed syrup from the time they go in until around the third week of June or until the wax is all drawn out.
If the syrup comes off too early the bees will not make wax, the population of the hive will not grow and the bees will not be able to overwinter.
